This week marks an exciting change in our class schedule with the addition of Thursday's Yoga Strong with Jennifer, giving everyone a chance to enjoy even more beach yoga activities. Jennifer covered for me along with Sheila when I was out for 3 months at the end of last season. I'm happy to give her a warm welcome to our yoga tribe with a permanent class. Many of you reached out to me and expressed how much you loved the challenge she offered to your practice; her style was a welcome change to the weekly yoga classes. I hope you all will show up and give her a big welcome back!

Community Engagement & Inspiration
At the heart of our updates and new class schedule is our commitment to community and inspiration. The word healing comes from an Old English word haelan, which means to make whole, sound, or well, to bring back together. Where we are no longer disconnected. Healing begins when we each take responsibility, when we take agency. Healers are here to remind us we have options to heal and we have to make conscious decisions, not just go along passively. It's the movement from fragmentation to integration. From forgetting to remembering, from illness to oneness, from disharmony to harmony. After class Friday, the beach was very quiet and peaceful. I had the opportunity to stay and meditate alone, uninterrupted, and it was exactly what the doctor ordered. I took the time to overflow my cup and receive connection. My body was literally vibrating, and I felt it in my spine, in my breath. It reminded me how important it is to just sit in nature and connect with the earth, sky, animals, water, God. I was able to feel divine consciousness. That sweet, sweet music of harmony. I encourage you to go outside and be in this beautiful weather, take your shoes off and admire it all, sit still and reconnect. Think good into the world, act good in the world, and the world will reciprocate it. After the beach, I went to visit a cousin who recently had breast cancer surgery. I thought I would just drop off some Dunkin' and be on my way. I think that because I meditated/prayed at the beach, the divine had other plans. I stayed close to 2 hours and visited. We cried, we laughed, we healed. It felt so good for all of us there. We were all authentic and vulnerable. We remembered no one is better than anyone, that wellness isn't just a "pill," it's part of a larger connection. Actively show up and do the hard work. I've been a curious little fireball my whole life, always on a quest for deeper meaning and understanding. I think lately I have perhaps overcomplicated things. Keep it simple, stupid, KISS was an acronym I learned early in my career, but forgot to apply to my life. I think the simplest of explanations are in plain sight, and in awareness, we can prevent the suffering that comes from forgetting what's already within our reach.
Love, blessings and peace.
Lo
