Project Timeline
Hurray our north side of the beach is done and wider than I've ever seen! December 1st crews will resume work moving towards the Pelican Bay phase. During this time the access on the north end of Vanderbilt Beach will be open, restrooms are open as in the parking garage. Make sure to check your beach sticker expiration date!
The project should be 100% complete by mid January 2026 as it's new time-line.

Yoga
We are in the season of traveling and gathering. Even on the go make time to create space for you. A little movement to keep things flowing, some conscious slow breathing to gather yourself, seated yoga while in your car or any seated position for a long time. Take 3 slow breaths to transition into your practice. It's always a good idea to get the breath low and slow. Maybe you have been sitting too long and your mouth has been tasting all of the savory flavors of the season, like me, eating Dutch Apple pie for breakfast for Thanksgiving. I really wanted to enjoy it before the "big meal",lol yep sure did! Well it's time to get back to yoga my friends and family. I hope to see you on the beach very soon with all of your friends and family. When you are traveling I added a few things you can do to keep things loose.
When traveling here are a few things you can try:
Lateral bends are really good because it opens up the side body that gets really tight. Sit tall, inhale as you lift your arm up and reach it over your head to the opposite side. As you exhale draw the two rib halves together. Repeat.
Seated spinal twist. Sit tall, inhale lengthen up and exhale twist with your whole torso and head. Keep your hips from moving:) Stay for 30-60 seconds or 4- 6 slow breaths.
Seated Figure 4: Cross ankle over your opposite knee, move your hips back in space and you lengthen the spine forward slightly. Stay for 4-6 slow breaths.
Neck & Upper Trap Release to keep the tension at bay. Sit tall, let one ear fall toward the shoulder and reach the same side arm downward toward the ground, maybe rotate the arm from the shoulder girdle. Breathe deep into the belly to really let the neck muscles relax.
Today is the last day of black Friday deals.

As the holidays kick in this quote reminds us that even when old patterns, shadows, or family dynamics arise, there is still space for grace, possibility, and light.
